Michel Rivard, Benoit Brière and Stéphane Rousseau star in the long version of the video Culture in danger. For 8 minutes, the artists criticize the cuts in some cultural programs made by the Conservative administration of Stephen Harper.

There is a lot of buzz around a video made by Quebec stars Michel Rivard, Stéphane Rousseau and Benoit Brière. In it, popular singer Rivard is asking for a grant to travel around the world with a classic Quebec folk song. However, the obvious conservative committee mistakes the French word phoque [seal] for fuck [no need explaining].

There is a subtitled version available for our fellow Canadians who don’t understand French. Here’s the link.
