Alice et Narcisse au Mois Multi 9
L’artiste pluridisciplinaire Jean Dubois a proposé dans le cadre du Mois Multi 9 de Québec une oeuvre intitulée Les Errances de l’écho. Se présentant comme un simple miroir dans le hall d’entrée, l’oeuvre joue sur la curiosité du regardeur et son envie de toucher son propre reflet. Lorsqu’il cède à la tentation, tel Narcisse, et qu’il s’approche un peu trop près du miroir, celui-ci se met à lui parler. [En savoir plus]
Multidisciplinary Jean Dubois exhibited Les Errances de l’écho [The Wanderings of Echo] at Mois Multi 9 in Quebec City. This simple-looking mirror tempts onlookers by inviting them to look closer at their own reflections. Once they get too close, the mirror speaks to them. It’s a play on Alice in Wonderland and the Narcissus myth. [Further reading]
